About
4D Intuition is a unique 4D geometry puzzle game. Starting with simple movement and jumping, you'll gradually build an intuition for 4D space through a series of interactive challenges. Along the way, you'll learn how to navigate and manipulate 4D objects before ultimately solving challenging 4D Sokoban-style puzzles.
Humans don't understand 3D space through calculation—we rely on visual intuition.
From flat 2D images, our brains automatically reconstruct 3D structure.
In the same way, 4D space can be explored through 3D views.
In 4D Intuition, you interact with 4D space using a virtual "3D display" that provides a form of virtual 4D vision.
By learning to read the hidden spatial relationships inside these 3D views, you will begin to develop genuine 4D intuition.
The game consists of 5 chapters and 64 levels, where you'll develop your 4D intuition through a variety of engaging challenges:
Walk, jump, and collect targets.
Photograph 4D objects from different perspectives.
Build stacks of hypercubes.
Push 4D objects to their target locations.
Combine spatial reasoning to solve challenging 4D puzzles.
The game includes a variety of guidance systems, including 3D analogs of 4D scenes, animated demonstrations, and more. Whether you're completely new to 4D space or already familiar with it, you'll enjoy a smooth learning curve and plenty of challenging puzzles.

I really enjoyed the game. It is truly 4D and, most importantly, perfectly illustrates the 4D concept, allowing you to compare 4D mechanics with their 3D counterparts. For me, the difficulty spiked exponentially when I had to start
taking photos of a 4D die from different angles
. The game pretty much stops giving you explanations at this point, forcing you to really rack your brain. It heavily reminds me of the "how to draw an owl" meme, where you get the bare basics and are suddenly expected to draw a highly detailed, realistic owl. I would absolutely love to see this game in VR. I believe that being able to perceive depth—at least for the 3D objects—would make solving these puzzles both easier and way more engaging.
Absolutely genius UI system, this is easily the best game that I've played at giving you a real "spacial" understanding of 4D. It isn't as pretty as other 4D games, like 4D golf, but I feel like I can grasp complex level design much easier in this game than any other. Only thing that I wish the game had was better keybindings. It's clearly meant to be played primarily with a mouse, which is fine, and it's definitely still playable on a controller. But it would be much easier to play on controller if I could set keybindings so moving the screen and turning the camera used different buttons, instead of just toggling between them. Buttons that move you in screen space would be nice as well (like a button that always moves you in the red/fire direction, no matter what side of the 2D screen the red/fire direction is). Oh, and there should probably be a better way to "rotate" in the "hyperplane illusion" view, it's very easy end up rotating off axis, and not be sure how to realign your view with the grid. I didn't have a hard time with that, but I could see it being very confusing if it was someone's first 4d experience. Still, great job on this, it's very well done
