4D Golf

What a prideful fool I was, and it has become my undoing. So sure of my newfound perception, I leapt forward, not knowing how truly vast this hyper-dimensional abyss is. Cosmodeus, my watcher, my teacher, calls out for me, but they cannot reach me here. As I fall, I whirl and tumble on a multiplicity of rotational planes completely orthogonal to each other. My compass, once an orderly, if occasionally stretched indicator of direction, distorts in ways my mind refuses to perceive, much less comprehend. The seconds stretch to an eternity, the wind howls in my ears, and an infinitely long fractal wall wraps ever closer. And suddenly I realize, it has stopped. Or rather, it stopped a while ago and I only just noticed. I call out to Cosmodeus, but I can't even hear an echo. Sound falls off to the inverse power of... however many dimensions this place has. As I search for an exit, a strange figure approaches, followed by two more clones splitting out from nothingness. The third chuckles lightly and admonishes Cosmodeus for letting me explore so recklessly, before redshifting out of existence. The second walks backwards and offers me some tea. I politely decline. The first asks if I am a student of Cosmodeus. I confirm, and they tell me of their own time under his tutelage, before asking how I ended up here. I tell them of the fall. The second continues backwards and merges with the first before disappearing fully. I am stuck here now, in an abyss of dimensions my tools cannot spin through. I can only pray that Cosmodeus can reach and rescue me.
