Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 7 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

2D Neon Cube is a minimalist platformer built around a simple idea executed with sharp neon styling: guide a glowing cube through a series of small, obstacle-filled levels until you reach the exit portal. At its core, the experience is intentionally stripped down — you move, you jump, and you navigate basic platform layouts without any additional mechanics layered on top. This clarity of design gives the game an immediately recognizable identity. The neon aesthetic, with its pulsing outlines and stark geometric backdrops, creates the sense of an abstract digital grid world, something between a retro arcade maze and a stylized puzzle simulation. The presentation is crisp, clean, and visually striking in its own restrained way, and this helps the game stand out despite its limited mechanical scope. The gameplay itself leans heavily on simplicity. Each level asks you to jump over gaps, avoid hazards, and stay on narrow platforms long enough to reach the exit. Early sections teach the fundamentals gently, allowing you to acclimate to the cube’s movement and the game’s flow. As you progress, the challenge begins to revolve more around timing and careful positioning, but the overall difficulty remains modest. The game doesn’t introduce radical twists, special abilities, or evolving mechanics — which means it never becomes deep or complex, but it also never overwhelms the player. For many, this makes the experience breezy and approachable, a bite-sized platforming session that can be completed in well under an hour. However, the low complexity comes with obvious limitations. Without new mechanics or imaginative obstacles, the levels begin to blend together quickly, creating a sense of repetition that diminishes the game’s momentum. The neon aesthetic, while initially appealing, doesn’t vary enough from level to level to create distinctive environments or progression. Because nothing fundamentally changes between stages, the game’s short length becomes both a blessing and a constraint: it doesn’t last long enough to become tedious, but it also doesn’t have enough substance to leave a strong lasting impression. Combined with the absence of a narrative or thematic framing, the experience feels more like a small mechanical exercise than a fully realized adventure. One unusual element of 2D Neon Cube is its enormous achievement count — thousands of achievements tied to a game that can be completed quickly. This design choice clearly caters to players who enjoy collecting Steam achievements, but for others, it may feel like padding or a novelty rather than a meaningful reward. The achievements do not reflect skill or deep progression; instead, they function as a collectible gimmick that reinforces the game’s identity as a short, low-pressure diversion rather than a challenging platformer. For achievement hunters, this could be part of the appeal. For players seeking depth, it will likely feel superfluous. Despite these drawbacks, 2D Neon Cube does succeed in delivering a straightforward, compact platforming experience with a consistent visual identity. It is the kind of game you can pick up on a whim, complete in one sitting, and walk away satisfied if your expectations are aligned with its limited ambition. There are no complicated systems to learn, no difficult spikes to master, and no elaborate mechanics hidden beneath the surface. Instead, the game offers a small window of neon-colored jumps, obstacles, and light reflex-based play — pleasant enough in the moment, even if not particularly memorable. Ultimately, 2D Neon Cube feels like a modest indie experiment, one that values accessibility and visual style over gameplay depth. It won’t appeal to players seeking a robust platformer with variety, challenge, or innovation, but it can serve as a fun, inexpensive distraction for those who enjoy minimalist design or simply want a brief, relaxing run through a neon labyrinth. In its simplicity, the game achieves exactly what it sets out to do: provide a quick, aesthetically distinct platforming experience that asks little from the player and concludes almost as quickly as it begins. Rating: 6/10
This game is absolutely not worth 3.99€ It's beaten in 15 minutes, controls are janky, the music is annoying and loops indefinitely, the physics are bad and the level design is even worse. The ONLY reason anyone would buy this, is to get the 100's of achievements you get for beating a single level, that has every letter and special character on it to customize one's profile.
Развивающая игра
Rating: 7.6/10 2D Neon Cube is a simple yet enjoyable 2D platformer that focuses on precision, timing, and quick reflexes. With its colorful neon visuals and straightforward level design, it offers a relaxing but occasionally challenging experience. While it doesn't introduce many new ideas, it's a solid choice for players who enjoy casual platforming and collecting Steam achievements.
