About
"22RS combines insanely fast physics-based racing with extreme vehicles and track designs reminiscent of a future racer - And somehow manages to pull it off!"
It feels like a future racer - But it's done with physics.
This is achieved with a vehicle that changes its downforce in real-time with a fly-by-wire setup that adjusts spoilers, suspension, tire pressure (and more) based on speed.
Go faster -> Pull more downforce -> Master more insane tracks.
22RS features RTS mechanics never seen before in racing games:
Track capture - Capture resources from the track by getting the fastest sector times.
Vehicle upgrades: Upgrade your engine, boosters, ERS, and capacitors mid race.
Mid Race Resources - Collect electricity and plasma and spend them to boost, buy upgrades, or use 'abilities'.
Abilities: Paint the track with an area based effect that gives boosts and energy to you, or steals speed and energy from opponents.
Vehicle Tuning - Tune the vehicle to make it do (almost) whatever you want.
Race Builder - Create any kind of racing mode and strategy that you like.
Track Builder - Edit > Race > Edit instantly, and share globally with one click.

22 Racing Series | RTS-Racing is a bold and unconventional take on futuristic racing, attempting to fuse high-speed driving with real-time strategy elements into a single cohesive experience. Developed and published by GOATi Entertainment, it positions itself as more than just a racer, introducing a system where tactical decisions made during a race can be just as important as mechanical driving skill. It’s an idea that immediately stands out, offering something genuinely different in a genre that often leans on familiar formulas. At its foundation, the game delivers extremely fast-paced racing across futuristic tracks that twist, loop, and extend into vertical space. Vehicles are capable of driving along walls and ceilings, creating a sense of freedom that goes beyond traditional track design. The handling model leans toward a simulation approach, emphasizing physics, traction, and control rather than arcade-style forgiveness. As a result, the learning curve can be steep, especially for players expecting a more accessible experience. However, once the mechanics begin to click, the sense of speed and control can be highly satisfying, rewarding precision and consistency. What sets the game apart is its RTS-inspired layer, which fundamentally changes how races are approached. Tracks are divided into sectors, and players compete to dominate these zones by setting strong times within them. Controlling sectors generates resources that can be spent during the race to upgrade various aspects of the vehicle, such as speed, energy capacity, or handling. This introduces a strategic dimension that runs parallel to the driving itself. Players must constantly decide whether to focus on racing efficiency or invest in upgrades that may provide a longer-term advantage. This dynamic creates a unique tension, where every lap becomes a balance between immediate performance and strategic positioning. The upgrade system adds a sense of progression within each race, allowing players to adapt their vehicle to changing conditions. While this is an interesting concept, the impact of these upgrades can sometimes feel limited, as many options ultimately contribute to similar outcomes. The lack of distinct strategic paths reduces the potential depth of the system, making it feel more like a supplemental feature rather than a transformative one. Even so, the idea of evolving your vehicle mid-race remains one of the game’s more compelling aspects. In addition to its core mechanics, the game includes a variety of modes and features designed to extend its lifespan. Standard race formats are complemented by time trials and elimination-style events, offering some variation in how players engage with the tracks. The inclusion of track creation tools is particularly notable, allowing players to design and share their own courses. This adds a layer of creativity and has the potential to keep the experience fresh, especially for those interested in experimenting with level design. Visually, the game embraces a sleek, futuristic aesthetic that emphasizes speed and motion. Tracks are vibrant and often complex, with layouts that encourage vertical movement and unconventional racing lines. The ability to race in multiple orientations adds visual variety, though it can also make navigation disorienting at high speeds. The presentation effectively conveys the intensity of the experience, even if it lacks the polish and refinement of larger-budget racing titles. Sound design supports the action with energetic effects and a fitting soundtrack, though it remains secondary to the gameplay itself. One of the more challenging aspects of the game is its accessibility. The combination of high-speed physics and strategic decision-making can be overwhelming for new players, and the game does not always provide enough guidance to ease them into its systems. At the same time, experienced players may find that the strategic layer does not go deep enough to fully satisfy long-term engagement. This creates a somewhat uneven balance, where the game’s ambition is clear, but its execution does not always support it consistently. The experience is also influenced by its reliance on player interaction. Many of its systems are designed to shine in competitive environments, where the interplay between racers adds unpredictability and depth. Without a strong multiplayer presence, some of these elements lose their impact, making the game feel more limited when played solo. This dependency can affect its longevity, particularly for players who prefer single-player experiences. Ultimately, 22 Racing Series | RTS-Racing is a game defined by its willingness to experiment. It introduces ideas that challenge traditional expectations of the racing genre, offering a hybrid experience that combines speed with strategy. While not all of these ideas are fully realized, the game still provides moments of genuine excitement and innovation. It is best suited for players who are open to unconventional mechanics and willing to invest time in understanding its systems. In the end, it stands as an ambitious and creative title that pushes the boundaries of what a racing game can be, even if it does not fully refine its concepts. For those looking for something different, it offers a unique experience that is both challenging and memorable. Rating: 7/10

Challenging, trippy, but super fun!
Definitely worth the sale price at the moment, would be worth the full price if they bring some good updates, more tracks and content, it can be good fun in VR, that's the only way I play it.
i really like the game 9/10 very nice cool graphics 8/10 racing? yes 10/10 shooter? no 8/10
This game is pretty much dead.
I've already put hundreds of hours into this game already. It's really fun but in *early-access*. Race in time trails against other players times on the leaderboards. There's a track-builder, which is really fun. You can clock speeds past 2,000KPH. (If you don't know how to get close to these speeds that's where the practice comes in) It's a different take on the racing genre and it works really well. (Has uncapped frame limit, if you're not getting that, try to fullscreen the game [alt+enter]) Multiplayer and other modes to come eventually. Worth the buy.
Really enjoying my time since the sale, I jumped straight into a race, thinking that I could just work it out, turns out not so easy to but a fun chalalnge, checked out the tutorial and everything made sense. Definitly a learning curve but really interesting, a lot fun to jump in and try some tracks. A bit of focus on to the player progression, starting people with a race license-like tutorial type of set up, and hand holding/easing into the mechanics and of the depth and controls would be nice. The RTS hybrid elements are a really cool combination too, and definintly a fun challenge to wrap to involve yourself in. The cars themselves feel really good, the control over the tuning and control as well feels great and overall I'm really enjoing the time with 22RS.
My name is Sonic the Hedgehog
Physics based car game wanted to test out because it had a bit of a futuristic Tron vibe which I like. Was a bit hard and had some issues with my keyboard understanding until I plugged in my Logitech game controller. Then I was set much more set. Also was a bit rough going right into it until I popped back out to run the tutorial. Was much more helpful after playing the tutorial and chilling out a bit more on my turns. Enjoyed the boosters for the Y on and X for the "flap" was it stuff. I'll set up my VR next cuz I hear its good on that front. I got turned around a couple of times but figured out how to change the direction. More tracks for me to explore next and can see some upgrade areas in the opening. Overall can see this would be way fun to race against others. Some neat and interesting driving tech going on here.
